I worked as CG Lead at Café FX on Martin Scorsese's The Aviator, collaborating with visual effects supervisor Rob Legato on the film's experimental test flight sequence. My work involved building the CGI plane and helping shoot elements and backgrounds used to build the sequence, contributing to the effects that brought Howard Hughes's early aviation to the screen. The film went on to win five Academy Awards, including Best Cinematography.
