THE CHALLENGE:

The source was a finished 16:9, 1080p television commercial. It had to be adapted to a 6K, 360° spherical camera to wrap the Exosphere's exterior canvas — a fundamentally different format and resolution the original was never built for — with no existing pipeline to handle the conversion, the data, or the renders.

MY ROLE:

I led a team of 4 from asset strategy through final delivery, working hands-on throughout to solve the format conversion and keep a novel project moving on a tight schedule.

WHAT I BUILT:

I wrote custom software to automate the conversion and asset extraction from the source Maya files, then developed an internal system to quickly visualize our output as it would appear on the Sphere — so the team could review and iterate without guesswork. Managing gigabytes of data and rendering at 6K spherical resolution meant building the pipeline as we went.

THE RESULT:

The finished piece ran on the Exosphere for roughly two months — content re-engineered for one of the largest and most visible displays in the world, delivered on schedule under real technical constraints.
